He is an expert in managing multi-cultural projects, technology transfer, and joint development programs between companies. Bao has played a pioneering role in the technical and entrepreneurial aspects of scatterometry (also known as Optical CD), driving it to become a standard metrology in semiconductor manufacturing fabs. With a strong background in physics/optics, applied mathematics, and statistics, he has hands-on experience in algorithm and software development.
