Robert Mehrabian is the current Chairman, President, and CEO of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (TDY), a position he has held since 2000. Before joining Teledyne, Mehrabian held top executive positions at Allegheny Teledyne Incorporated (ATI) starting in July 1997. Before his corporate career, Mehrabian spent 30 years in academia, including serving as the President of Carnegie Mellon University from 1990 to 1997. He holds a bachelor's and a Doctor of Science degree from MIT. He has authored 139 technical papers and edited six materials science and engineering books.
